Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care, perform breathing treatments, and manage therapy plans in a hospital setting.

You will supervise care, assess patients, and tailor treatment plans to support recovery and independence, while building meaningful patient relationships and celebrating progress with the team.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
