Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will deliver respiratory therapies, supervise treatments, assess patients, and tailor care plans to individual recovery goals.

Qualifications

• State License in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• ACLS certification preferred for this role.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas, breathing therapies, and medications.
• Supervise care and breathing treatments, lead patient assessments, develop personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients, dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient successes and progress along the recovery journey.
