Job summary

Vista Health System in Illinois is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assist patients with pulmonary disorders. You will perform diagnostic testing, analyze results, and monitor blood-oxygen levels using dedicated care equipment.

You will document care delivered, educate patients and families, maintain ventilators, and participate in arterial blood gas procedures to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA or JRCRTE approved program.
• Must be licensed in the state of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers - CPR/AHA certification required. CRT required. Preferred RRT.
• NRP preferred.
• Experience in all modalities of Respiratory care through clinical application.

Assist patients of all ages who suffer from pulmonary (breathing) disorders. In addition to analyzing and performing diagnostic testing, Respiratory Therapists perform relevant exams and control patients' blood-oxygen levels, as well as set up and utilize Respiratory care equipment and machines needed to assist or monitor the patients breathing.
