Sanford Health Watertown, a non-profit rural healthcare system, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a full-time position (0.9 status) to administer respiratory care and life support under physician supervision for inpatient and outpatient services. Wage range: $28.12-$36.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, ABGs, medications delivery, education, and participation in rapid response and trauma teams.

Qualifications

• Active license as RRT or NBRC-certified.
• Degree in Respiratory Care from AMA-approved program (Associates or Bachelors).
• BLS required; ACLS (RQI), PALS (RQI), NRP within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Administer respiratory therapy and life support under physician supervision.
• Manage ventilator and noninvasive ventilation therapies.
• Deliver medications, bronchial hygiene, and volume expansion therapy.
• Educate patients and support smoking cessation.
• Perform ABG sampling and participate in Rapid Response, Code Blue, and trauma teams.
• Attend cesarean sections and high-risk deliveries.

Job Summary

Wage range: $28.12-$36.00

This full-time position(0.9 status) administers respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, under the physician's supervision and by prescription for inpatient and outpatient services.

Responsibilities include:

• Management for ventilator and noninvasive ventilation
• Medications delivery, Bronchial hygiene, and Volume expansion therapy
• Smoking cessation and patient education
• Arterial blood draws (ABGs), Rapid Response, Code Blue, and Trauma Teams
• Attend all cesarean sections and/or high-risk deliveries

Qualifications

Must possess an Active license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified credentials through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care Program, Associates or Bachelors

Certification in the American heart association’s BLS is required. Certification in ACLS (RQI), PALS (RQI), and NRP within 6 months of hire.
