Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home health team. You will provide in‑home respiratory therapy and clinical support to patients using ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other advanced equipment.

You’ll be part of a team that values autonomy and patient education. The position pays $35.00 to $39.00 per hour, with a bonus opportunity and a $2,000 gross sign‑on bonus after 60 days plus another $2,000 after 180 days of

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home assessments and educate on respiratory equipment.
• Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs and orders.
• Monitor and troubleshoot respiratory equipment in the home.
• Document services and patient interactions accurately.
• Provide phone support and follow-up care for respiratory patients.
• Participate in on-call rotations and travel to patient homes as needed.

Respiratory Therapist or RN – Home Healthcare

Deliver Care Where It Matters Most – In the Patient’s Home

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide in‑home respiratory therapy and clinical support to patients using ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other advanced equipment. At this location, this position pays $35.00 to $39.00 per hour, depending on related experience, and is eligible for a bonus opportunity. External candidates are eligible for a $2000 gross sign‑on bonus to be paid after 60 days and another $2000 after 180 days of continuous employment.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑home patient assessments and provide clinical education on respiratory equipment.
• Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs and physician orders.
• Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment to ensure optimal function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient interactions.
• Provide ongoing phone support and follow‑up care for respiratory patients.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and drive a vehicle for home visits (as needed).
• Support training and orientation of new clinical staff.

Qualifications

Required Education And/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
• Credentials as a respiratory therapist, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) is preferred but other medical credentials may be acceptable (e.g., RC, RN, LPN, LPV) depending upon state licensure laws
• Must be licensed in primary state of home office as required by state law and provide a copy of license to the location
• May be required to obtain license in neighbouring states as required by service area of location

Preferred Education And/or Experience

• Completion of an accredited program/degree in respiratory care preferred
• Nursing or other paramedical training may be acceptable depending upon state licensure laws
• Home respiratory care experience is preferred
• Degree in respiratory therapy or related science is preferred
• One year of related work experience, preferred
