Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides compassionate, evidence-based respiratory care in acute and critical care settings. The role assesses patient needs and initiates and manages respiratory therapies, including mechanical ventilation, oxygen, and aerosol treatments. The RRT performs arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and responds promptly to respiratory emergencies.
