Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tyler, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our team. You will provide patient care for individuals with acute and chronic respiratory conditions under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Supervisor.

Responsibilities cover General Therapy, Critical Care, Education, and Pulmonary Services, with opportunities for leadership and ongoing professional development in a People-First environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from COARC accredited respiratory care program.
• Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist with NBRC.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to those with acute and chronic respiratory problems under supervision.
• Responsibilities include General Therapy, Critical Care, Education, Processing Control, Pulmonary Services Research, and leadership.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures as guided by the Respiratory Care Supervisor.

Qualifications
