Job summary

Ardent Health Services invites a Respiratory Therapist to join the Tyler, TX team on the day shift. This full-time role provides comprehensive patient care across acute and chronic respiratory conditions with supervision from the Respiratory Care Leader.

Applicants must graduate from a COARC-accredited program, hold Texas licensure, NBRC certification, and current BLS. ACLS and NRP within specified timelines are also required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from COARC accredited respiratory care program.
• Licensed practitioner by the State of Texas Medical Board.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist with NBRC.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification.
• NRP within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to those with acute and chronic respiratory problems.
• Under guidance of the Respiratory Care Supervisor follow departmental policies.
• Contribute to General Therapy, Critical Care, Education, Processing Control, Pulmonary Services Research, and Leadership.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Respiratory Care Supervisor and according to specific instructions and established departmental policies and procedures, provides patient care to those suffering from acute and chronic respiratory problems. Job duties and responsibilities are related to General Therapy, Critical Care, Education, Processing Control, Pulmonary Services Research, and Leadership.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from COARC accredited respiratory care program.
• Licensed practitioner by the State of Texas Medical Board.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire.
