Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy per physician orders. The role includes collaborating with physicians and nursing staff, and rotating through the NICU to build specialized experience.

Active state licensure with NBRC RRT credential is required; PALS certification is required for ER roles, and ACLS is desirable for broader critical care exposure.

Qualifications

Position

Registered Respiratory Therapist responsible for providing direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy based on physician orders.

Key Responsibilities

Consults with physicians on therapy effectiveness, acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff, and performs assigned duties. All RTs will train and rotate through the NICU.

Qualifications

Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program, current state licensure, and NBRC RRT credential. PALS certification is required for ER roles. Preferred experience includes critical care, and ACLS is desirable.

Physical Demands & Equipment

Capable of handling respiratory devices, with physical requirements including lifting, pushing, pulling, and minimal kneeling or crouching.
