Job summary

Career Crunch is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with breathing conditions, perform diagnostic testing, and collaborate with physicians to create effective treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• RRT license in Arkansas is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic testing including bedside EKGs, blood gas analysis, and respiratory education.
• Deliver respiratory therapies, monitor patient response and communicate changes.
• Respond to codes and emergent respiratory calls with rapid assessment and intervention.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans.
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment, manage supplies and support safety.
• Care for neonates through older adults while following infection control standards.

How you’ll contribute

• Deliver respiratory therapies, monitor patient response, and communicate changes in condition.
• Respond to codes and emergent respiratory calls, providing rapid assessment and intervention.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health, medication use, and illness management.
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment, manage supplies, and support performance improvement efforts.
• Provide care across neonatical through older adult populations while ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards.

What we’re looking for

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• RRT license in the state of practice.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments with exposure to biological and chemical hazards.
