Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide home respiratory care after physician orders. The respiratory therapist will set up respiratory equipment and manage ventilators in the home setting, delivering safe, effective care.

The role requires an active RRT or CRT license, a clean driving record, and the ability to perform deliveries, provide patient instruction, and follow-up care. We offer benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with home-care experience.
• Proficient in managing respiratory equipment and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home settings.
• Completes delivery and pickup paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Provides patients with instruction on use, maintenance and safety of equipment.
• Performs follow-up calls with patients after setup; provides follow-up home care as needed.

Position:

Respiratory Therapist

General Description:

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including, but not limited to, non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting
• Completes delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately
• Provides patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment
• Performing follow up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up
• Providing follow up care in the home setting as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Successful completion of a background check
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license
• Must hold an active RRT or CRT License
