Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care in the home setting. The therapist will set up equipment promptly after physician orders and will manage ventilator care, including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs, in both hospital and home environments.

Responsibilities include delivery and pickup paperwork, patient instruction on equipment use and safety, plus follow-up calls and home care as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist required.
• Active RRT or CRT license.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years or older with valid drivers license and background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment in hospital and home settings.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provide patients with instruction on use, maintenance and safety of equipment.
• Perform follow-up calls with patients after setup.
• Provide follow-up home care as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position:

Respiratory Therapist

General Description:

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including, but not limited to, non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting
• Completes delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately
• Provides patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment
• Performing follow up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up
• Providing follow up care in the home setting as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Successful completion of a background check
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver's license
• Must hold an active RRT or CRT License
