Job summary

MEDSTAR HEALTH is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist for the night shift to deliver evidence-based respiratory care across our regional health system.

The role includes assessments, implementing physician-ordered therapies, ventilator and airway management, and emergency response, in a fast-paced, patient-first environment. Collaboration with nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio.
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with ventilators and airway management.
• Familiar with EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and implement prescribed therapies.
• Set up and monitor ventilators and airway devices.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff.
• Utilize EMR systems for documentation.
