Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide respiratory care, manage breathing treatments, and contribute to patient rehabilitation in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guide patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
