Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Primary Care Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team to service our patients in the Marietta area. As a valuable member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed Respiratory Therapists in delivering exceptional care to our homebound patients. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals recovering from injuries or illnesses. Respiratory Therapist role performs visits in homes, ALF's, and ILF's. This is a salary-based position, with the opportunity to receive a monthly bonus. This is a full-time salary-based role, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities
- Assist licensed respiratory therapists in delivering patient care for homebound patients.
- Perform visits in homes, ALFs, and ILFs as part of a salary-based, full-time role.
- Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress in collaboration with the care team.
- Educate patients on proper rehabilitation or respiratory techniques and document progress.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment; sanitize and maintain equipment.
- Coordinate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Assist in the implementation of discharge plans and provide instructions for continued care and follow-up services.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
- CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary to assist patients with mobility and perform therapeutic activities.

Preferred Qualifications
