Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Primary Care Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team to service our patients in the Marietta area. As a valuable member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed Respiratory Therapists in delivering exceptional care to our homebound patients. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals recovering from injuries or illnesses. Respiratory Therapist role performs visits in homes, ALF's, and ILF's. This is a salary-based position, with the opportunity to receive a monthly bonus. This is a full-time salary-based role, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed respiratory therapists in delivering patient care for homebound patients.
• Perform visits in homes, ALFs, and ILFs as part of a salary-based, full-time role.
• Implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress in collaboration with the care team.
• Educate patients on proper rehabilitation or respiratory techniques and document progress.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment; sanitize and maintain equipment.
• Coordinate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Assist in the implementation of discharge plans and provide instructions for continued care and follow-up services.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
