Job summary

Your Health is seeking a Primary Care Respiratory Therapist to join our team serving the Marietta/Gainesville area. You will support licensed Respiratory Therapists by delivering rehabilitative care to homebound patients in various care settings.

This full-time salary-based position includes a monthly bonus opportunity and a Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule. You will work closely with physical therapists to implement treatment plans, educate patients, document progress, and ensure

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited respiratory program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans and conducting therapeutic exercises with patients.
• Educate patients on proper techniques for rehabilitation exercises.
• Document patient progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Instruct and assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment, ensuring equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.
• Communicate regularly with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Assist in the implementation of discharge plans, including providing patients with instructions for continued care and follow-up services.

What Are We Looking For?

Your Health is currently hiring a Respiratory Therapist to join our growing primary care family. In this role you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide rehabilitative services to patients with physical injuries or disabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the implementation of treatment plans and conducting therapeutic exercises with patients
• Educating patients on proper techniques for rehabilitation exercises
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records
• Instructing and assisting patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities
• Monitoring patients during therapy sessions and providing guidance and support as needed
• Maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment, ensuring equipment is properly sanitized and maintained
• Communicating regularly with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Assisting in the implementation of discharge plans, including providing patients with instructions for continued care and recommending appropriate follow‑up services

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited respiratory program
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
• CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary to assist patients with mobility and perform therapeutic activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language commonly spoken by patients in the practice area
