Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide home respiratory care, set up equipment, and manage ventilators according to physician orders.

The role includes patient instruction, follow-up calls, and home care support with a focus on safety and timely equipment setup.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with home care experience.
• Experience with ventilator management and delivering respiratory equipment.
• Willingness to provide follow-up care and patient instruction.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment in hospital and home settings (e.g., non-invasive ventilators, BiPAP).
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Instruct patients on proper use, maintenance and safety of equipment.
• Make follow-up calls after setup and provide home care as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position

Respiratory Therapist

General Description

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including, but not limited to, non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting
• Completes delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately
• Provides patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment
• Performing follow up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up
• Providing follow up care in the home setting as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Successful completion of a background check
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license
• Must hold an active RRT or CRT License
