Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide direct patient care for medical gas delivery and breathing therapy, supervise treatments, and contribute to personalized care plans that support recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients and their families to support recovery and overall well-being.
• Celebrating patient victories along the journey to recovery.

Education

State License in Respiratory Therapy

CPR certification

ACLS certification preferred

Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred
