Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Maple Grove campus to provide respiratory care, oxygen delivery, ventilator management, and diagnostic assessments under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program, possess strong communication and computer skills, and demonstrate initiative and reliable, patient-focused care. Nights shift, on-site, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved JRCRTE/COARC respiratory program. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• New Graduate RT will be considered.
• Strong planning, time management and detail-oriented skills.
• Solid PC skills including electronic medical record systems and MS applications.

About This Position

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for respiratory therapy duties including oxygen administration, application of ventilators, initiation, assessment of and recommendations for respiratory care services including diagnostic studies under physician supervision. Requirements

Education

Experience

• Prior experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner/Therapist and level 3 NICU experience preferred.
• New Graduate RT from an accredited Respiratory Therapist school will be considered.
• Ability to take initiative, be self‑motivated and an independent, accountable, dependable performer.
• Effective planning, time management, organizational and detail‑oriented skills.
• Solid PC skills to include electronic medical record, MS applications, internet, etc.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information (both in written and oral form), clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict in a positive manner. Has an awareness of, responds to, and considers the needs, feelings and capabilities of others.
• Ability to be accountable for quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.

Licensure/Certification

Work Group: Maple Grove Non Contract

Hours per two week pay period: 48

Shift: Nights 12 hours

Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd Weekend

Call Requirement: None

FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt

Benefit Eligibility: Health insurance benefits are available for this position. North Memorial Health offers multiple health plans based on work group eligibility.

Salary Range: MG Respiratory & RRT Therapist ($40.80 - $55.47), based on experience

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
