Job summary

W3Global seeks a licensed Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare client in Columbus, Ohio. You will provide in-home and facility-based respiratory care, educate patients and families, and ensure safe operation of respiratory equipment.

The role requires strong clinical and communication skills, independence and teamwork, and willingness to travel to patient locations as needed. A current Ohio license and appropriate credentials are required; a sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Respiratory Therapist license in the applicable state.
• Credentials/certification as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate respiratory care to patients in homes and care settings.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment, therapies and usage.
• Set up, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory equipment.
• Assess patient needs and provide respiratory therapy support.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and complete records promptly.
• Follow clinical, regulatory, safety, and company standards.
• Maintain equipment and supplies per procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service with dignity and empathy.
• Collaborate with internal teams and healthcare professionals to support outcomes.
• Travel to patient locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and professional respiratory care to patients in their homes and/or care settings.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory equipment, therapies, and proper usage.
• Set up, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory and medical equipment.
• Assess patient needs and provide appropriate respiratory therapy support.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, referral sources, patients, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure all required records are completed in a timely manner.
• Follow applicable clinical, regulatory, safety, and company standards.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in accordance with established procedures.

• Travel to patient locations as required by the role.

Requirements

• Current Respiratory Therapist license in the applicable state.
• Appropriate respiratory therapy credentials/certification as required for the position.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to meet the insurance requirements associated with the position, including:
  • Auto insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000.
  • Personal liability insurance of $1,000,000 per occurrence / $6,000,000 aggregate.
