The role you’ll contribute:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing and supervising respiratory clinical care to specific age groups. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, delivering, and evaluating treatments to meet patient needs. Adheres to all relevant compliance plans, rules, and regulations. Participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships. Works as part of the multidisciplinary team, utilizing clinical and critical thinking skills to manage ventilatory support, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, bronchial hygiene, and lung expansion therapies. Manages inhaled gases and performs procedures such as airway management, intubation, and hemodynamic assessments as per competency and protocol.

• Supports clinical improvement initiatives and mentors lower-level staff.
• Performs blood gas analysis, point-of-care testing, and other diagnostic procedures.
• May perform additional duties such as EKGs and A-line maintenance based on certification and competency.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Critical thinking, patient assessment, and airway management skills.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• CPR (BLS) and PALS certifications required; STABLE preferred.
