Job summary

Personal Touch Home Health Care Services Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult, geriatric, neonatal, and pediatric patients in a home health setting.

You will perform therapy procedures, assess data, review records, coordinate with physicians, document outcomes, ensure equipment readiness, and support clinical education for allied health students. Licensure required; bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and Registered Respiratory Therapist License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performing respiratory therapy procedures in accordance with best practices and patient needs.
• Collecting and evaluating clinical data through inspection, auscultation, and review of medical records, blood gases, and lab results.
• Reviewing radiology reports and collaborating with physicians to discuss patient care and make recommendations.
• Monitoring patient responses to therapy and documenting procedures accurately.
• Ensuring equipment functionality, troubleshooting blood gas analyzers, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Communicating pertinent information effectively to the healthcare team.
• Participating in clinical instruction of allied health students.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
