Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Concord is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our care team and help patients regain independence after illness or injury. You will provide direct respiratory care, supervise breathing treatments, assess patient needs, and contribute to personalized plans that support recovery, safety, and comfort in a supportive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
