About Description:

AdaptHealth provides home medical equipment and services to improve patient lives. We are seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver direct and indirect patient care in various environments, ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations. Responsibilities include managing equipment like CPAP, BIPAP, nebulizers, oxygen devices, and more.

Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain knowledge of current respiratory programs, products, and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and instructions.
• Identify the need for pulse oximetry testing to recertify or qualify O2 services per insurance regulations.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Follow up with patients via calls or visits.
• Perform routine maintenance and simple repairs.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Report hazards and incidents per policies.
• Adhere to PPE, infection control, and hazardous materials procedures.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
