Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking Per Diem Respiratory Support Associates to work at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center, Overlook Medical Center, Chilton Medical Center, Newton Medical Center, and Hackettstown Medical Center in New Jersey.

The role involves cleaning and setting up respiratory equipment, performing pre-use checks, maintaining supplies, replenishing air/oxygen tanks, and assisting Respiratory Therapists as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy Program.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean respiratory equipment.
• Set up respiratory equipment.
• Conduct pre-use checks on respiratory equipment.
• Maintain par levels of respiratory supplies.
• Replenish air and oxygen tanks as needed.
• Perform equipment maintenance and calibrations.
• Deliver equipment and supplies to Respiratory Therapists when needed.
• Pick up discontinued equipment and bring to soiled utility for cleaning.
• Carry out delegated patient care activities appropriate for a facilitator and communicate with other members of the healthcare team.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
