Job summary

Tanner Health in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to perform cardiopulmonary duties under supervision, including administering respiratory treatments, airway and ventilator management, and blood gas analysis.

The ideal candidate will hold NBRC-credentialed RRT, be ACLS and PALS certified or willing to obtain within 10 months, and have at least 3 years of related experience. A strong focus on customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework.

$15,000 Sign On Bonus - External Hires Only

The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs Cardiopulmonary duties by hospital policy/procedure under general supervision. This can include administering of respiratory treatments, airway management, ventilator management, blood gases, and other noninvasive cardiology procedures. This individual will be held to a high level of customer service representation and will be an active participant in the continuous quality improvement process. The RRT shift supervisor will also be responsible for the oversight of all activities of the therapists assigned to him/her and involved in the training and evaluation of these employees.

Education

Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework

Experience

Three years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA accredited school for Respiratory Therapy
