Job summary

Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Rocket demand - Oxygen/COPD Specialist Nurse to work across primary and secondary care, delivering expert respiratory care for COPD and home oxygen patients.

You will assess, educate and monitor patients, manage a caseload, participate in ward-based reviews and home visits, and support discharge planning within the COPD/O2 team.

A full driving licence is essential; a degree-level nursing qualification and NHS experience are required.

Qualifications

Registered General Nurse with degree level education or equivalent
Independent prescribing or interest in gaining qualification
2 years experience in an NHS setting

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care for COPD and oxygen patients within the COPD/O2 team
Assess, educate and monitor patients and manage a caseload
Support ward-based assessments and home visits and discharge planning
