Job summary

All American Village Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Nurse (RN/LPN) to provide specialized care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

The role involves administering treatments, monitoring status, and educating patients and families, while collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality respiratory care. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in state (RN preferred).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Experience in respiratory care, ICU, ER, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient respiratory status and vital signs.
• Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and oxygen therapy as prescribed.
• Assist with ventilator and respiratory equipment management as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and clinical staff.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support care planning and discharge coordination.
