All American Village Nursing and Rehab in Chicago is seeking a Respiratory Nurse (RN/LPN) to deliver specialized respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic conditions on site in Chicago. Active RN/LPN license and current BLS certification are required; ACLS preferred.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Nurse to provide specialized care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate will support treatment, monitoring, and patient education while working closely with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality respiratory care.
Assess and monitor patient respiratory status and vital signs
Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and oxygen therapy as prescribed
Assist with ventilator and respiratory equipment management as needed
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and clinical staff
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques
Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Support care planning and discharge coordination
Active LPN or RN license in [State] (RN preferred)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
Prior experience in respiratory care, ICU, ER, or long-term care preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Experience with oxygen therapy and respiratory equipment
Familiarity with ventilator support (preferred but not required)
Ability to work in fast-paced clinical settings
Strong teamwork and attention to detail
