Job summary

GSK seeks an experienced Medical Director Clinical Development- Respiratory to lead clinical and translational efforts within the Respiratory, Immunology & Inflammation Research Unit. You will shape CDPs, supervise safety, and collaborate across Regulatory, Biology, and Commercial teams to advance assets.

You will work in a hybrid model, being on-site at Stevenage with remote options, and planning relocation to Cambridge as timelines allow, targeting early 2029.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree and formal postgraduate clinical training.
• Experience in clinical trial conduct with medical monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to design and oversee cross-disciplinary clinical development plans.
• Proven collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated communication of complex clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical development strategy for respiratory programs and integrate across translational and regulatory teams.
• Provide medical governance and safety oversight for studies and programs.
• Interface with regulators, KOLs, and internal partners to support submissions.
• Deliver study timelines, endpoints, and data generation plans.
• Coach and lead the Clinical Matrix Team and programmatic governance.
