GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Global Medical Director, Respiratory to lead medical strategy for a key respiratory asset. You will shape evidence generation, engage external experts, and influence clinical practice to improve patient outcomes globally.

You will collaborate across R&D, Commercial, Market Access and local medical teams to ensure insights translate into actions, driving medical impact at scale.

Formación

• MD/MBBS/PharmD or PhD in clinical/scientific discipline related to therapy area.
• Considerable experience in Medical Affairs including LOCs and supporting pre/peri-launch assets.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects, budgets, and interactions.
• Outstanding listening, communication & leadership skills for cross-stakeholder collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and execution of Global Medical Affairs Plans and Integrated Evidence Plans.
• Support the Global Medical Portfolio and Asset Strategy Leads in timely execution of MAPs and IEPs with key stakeholders through GMAT and IET.
• Think globally while understanding local operating company needs and success measures through LOC partnerships.
• Partner across internal/external ecosystem to deliver Medical Plans with external impact on time and budget.
• Leverage insights to inform clinical trial design and development plans for patient impact.
• Develop deep subject matter expertise and drive proactive strategic planning.
