The Respiratory Student Equipment Technician at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) performs non-clinical tasks to clean, track, prepare and deliver respiratory equipment to support patient care across assigned areas. The role reports to the Respiratory Therapy manager and operates under RT Shift Lead supervision.

Entrance-level position with COARC training in progress and a high school diploma or GED.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program or recognized successor organization.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Clean, track, prep, and deliver respiratory equipment to support patient care.
• Follow infection prevention standards and use PPE as required.
• Adhere to hospital policies; report safety concerns or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Collaborate with the respiratory therapy team and RT Manager.
