Job summary

Split Rock Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Respiratory Equipment Technician to support the Respiratory Therapy Department. The role is ideal for someone who is organized, mechanically inclined, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The technician ensures clean, functional respiratory equipment, assists Respiratory Therapists with setup and delivery, and maintains inventory and maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Healthcare or medical equipment experience preferred.
• Respiratory, DME, biomedical, or central sterile experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure respiratory equipment is clean, functional, and ready for patient care.
• Assist with maintenance, inventory control, and preventative maintenance.
• Support Respiratory Therapists with equipment setup and delivery throughout the facility.
• Document cleaning and maintenance activities; track inventory usage.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
