Job summary

Lincare in Salisbury, Maryland, is seeking a field-based Equipment Technician to install and service durable medical equipment, including concentrators, in homes and clinical settings.

You will complete orientation checklists, train patients on safe usage, perform preventative maintenance, and support on-call service on evenings and weekends as scheduled. Driving a company vehicle and adhering to safety policies are essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete equipment orientation checklists for new equipment and other necessary paperwork as required for new patient setup.
• Instruct patient in the safe and proper use of equipment.
• Make oxygen deliveries (cylinder and concentrator) and equipment checks on a daily route as determined by patient base and routing system.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment both in the home and at the center.
• Maintain company vehicle in clean and orderly manner and complete required paperwork.
• Clean rental equipment when returned to the center and maintain warehouse/storage area cleanliness.
• Follow FDA guidelines pertaining to cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testing.
• Follow Safety & Regulatory manuals including OSHA, DOT, FDA policies, and Emergency Planning.
• Work as on-call service representative evenings and weekends as scheduled.
