Description

The Respiratory Therapy Director works under the direction of the Executive Director to manage the healthcare team in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders affecting the heart and lungs. The Respiratory Therapy Director performs cardiopulmonary technology duties, provides advanced life support for patients, administers inhaled drugs and medical gasses, performs various tests to measure cardiopulmonary functions and assesses for sleep disordered breathing, provide education and guidance to patients regarding cardiopulmonary health and provide other treatments and responsibilities within the scope of the licensure of a Respiratory Therapist.
