Job summary

AdventHealth Celebration is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our night shift team. The role requires 3+ years of critical care experience and licensure as RRT with NBRC credentials.

You will work 3 12-hour nights, 7pm-7am, with sign-on and relocation bonuses for eligible applicants. This role supports clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a faith-based community hospital in Celebration, FL.

Job Description:

Shift: 3 12-hour night shift (7pm-7am)

Sign On Bonus: $15,000 for eligible applicants

Relocation Bonus: $5,000 for eligible applicants

• Ensures efficient use of resources and labor by reviewing scheduling and staffing needs.
• Acts as a liaison between staff and department leadership, communicating important issues to leadership promptly.
• Maintains good working relationships with all customers and communicates effectively with other healthcare team members.
• Serves as a role model by demonstrating leadership, communication, initiative, personal and professional growth, poise, and self-control.
• Acts as a resource person and assists with clinical duties when needed, maintaining all required clinical competencies.
• Practices and enforces standard precautions and safety regulations according to hospital policies.
• Attends new leader orientation and ongoing management/leadership classes.
• Adheres to, and ensures staff adherence to, the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitors staff activities in the clinical setting to ensure services are provided according to department and facility policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates professional standards and ethics, showing regard for the dignity, confidentiality, and respect of all patients, family members, visitors, and hospital personnel.
• Participates in and proactively initiates performance improvement activities.
• Completes performance appraisals on time, counsels staff, and initiates progressive discipline as needed.
