Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to partner with physicians and staff in delivering patient-centered care with respect. You will provide direct and indirect care under supervision, ensuring age- and culture-appropriate services while collaborating with teammates.

The role requires Indiana licensure or student temporary license progression, BLS certification, and active enrollment in a respiratory therapy program with completion of introductory coursework.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Respiratory Therapy (Required).
• Valid Indiana Student Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
• Current enrollment in a school of respiratory therapy, and have completed the associated introductory respiratory care courses, completion of first year or second year student.
• Documented verification of procedural competencies specific to respiratory care.
• Current enrollment in a school of respiratory therapy, and have completed the associated introductory respiratory care courses, completion of first year or second year student.
• Following graduation from a school of respiratory therapy, employees may stay in this role as long as their Indiana State License has not expired and until the results of registered respiratory therapist exam are received from the NBRC.

Responsibilities

• As part of our respiratory therapist team, you will partner with physicians/staff to provide patient centered care and outstanding service delivered with respect.
• You will be working with the patients and families to provide age and culturally appropriate care.
• You will Perform direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Collaborate with other team members to perform other appropriate services as directed.
