Job description

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will partner with physicians and staff to provide patient‑centered care and outstanding service delivered with respect. You will work with patients and families to provide age‑ and culturally appropriate care, perform direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Respiratory Therapist, and collaborate with other team members to perform other appropriate services as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Respiratory Therapy (required)
• Valid Indiana Student Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
• Current enrollment in a school of respiratory therapy and completion of introductory respiratory care courses (first or second year student)
• Documented verification of procedural competencies specific to respiratory care
• Following graduation, employees may stay in this role as long as their Indiana State License has not expired and until results of the registered respiratory therapist exam are received from the NBRC
