We are hiring a Respiratory Care Services Supervisor for our Pulmonary Function Labs at both downtown Indianapolis campuses (Methodist and University Hospitals). This full-time position offers a Monday – Friday schedule (no weekends or holidays) with flexible hours to support work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and technical guidance for daily operations.
  • Ensure continuity of care through accurate shift reports and resource management.
  • Serve as a clinical and equipment resource within the department.
  • Collaborate with statewide Pulmonary Function teams on best practices and outcomes.
  • Assist with operational planning for the upcoming campus consolidation in 2027.
  • Understand how finance and productivity impact departmental standards.
  • Build relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Identify ways to improve departmental efficiency based on customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) credential.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Pulmonary Function Lab.
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience in project work is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Respiratory Care; Bachelor's preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Current Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • RRT credential from NBRC.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
  • ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Critical Care experience.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
