Job summary

AristaCare Health Services is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Respiratory Care Unit. The role involves caring for residents with respiratory needs, including ventilator support and tracheostomy care, in a high-acuity setting.

Training will be provided, and we welcome applicants with SNF, LTACH, rehab, or hospital experience. Scheduling includes Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem shifts, with direct hiring through AristaCare.

Qualifications

Current Pennsylvania LPN or RN license in good standing.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility, Subacute, LTACH, Rehab, or Hospital.
Experience caring for residents with ventilator support.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to residents with respiratory and pulmonary conditions.
Monitor residents requiring ventilator support, tracheostomies, oxygen therapy, and respiratory treatments.
Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning procedures.
Administer prescribed medications, nebulizer treatments, and physician-ordered respiratory interventions.
Monitor ventilator function and elevate concerns to the appropriate clinical team.
Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory care needs.
Support emergency respiratory interventions when necessary.
