Sharp Tri-City Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for the night shift. The role performs cardiopulmonary diagnostics and therapies per physician-approved protocols, with responsibilities for education and accurate patient documentation.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program, hold CA RCP credentials, and possess BLS and ACLS, with preferred experience in acute care and bronchoscopy support.

The position is now available to be filled by internal candidates that are not members of the ratified Bargaining Unit or External candidates to Sharp.****What You Will Do** The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is a professional caregiver who performs cardiopulmonary diagnostics, therapeutics and monitors within his/her scope of practice per TCMC physician approved policies, procedures and protocols. This position maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in hospital and department expectations and professional organizations. The employee provides education to patients, families, caregivers and other health professionals. The RCP demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to patients'/caregivers' rights, as identified within the institution. Pulmonary Function Technologists may complete the same duties as RCPs and provide additional specialized testing of patients (PFTs).
