Job summary

MultiCare Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley, WA, is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (PRN) to provide skilled respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary needs. The position requires AMA-approved respiratory therapy training, state licensure as an RCP, and NBRC RRT registration, plus ACLS/NRP/PALS credentials within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
• Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS credentials required within 90 days of hire depending on age of the population served.
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of acute care experience in respiratory therapy and critical care; RRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations with cardiopulmonary system deficits and abnormalities.
• Operate independently under limited supervision with internal contacts including patient care staff and management.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians and other external health care providers as needed.
