The position requires AMA-approved respiratory therapy training, state licensure as an RCP, and NBRC RRT registration, plus ACLS/NRP/PALS credentials within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
• Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS credentials required within 90 days of hire depending on age of the population served.
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of acute care experience in respiratory therapy and critical care; RRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations with cardiopulmonary system deficits and abnormalities.
• Operate independently under limited supervision with internal contacts including patient care staff and management.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians and other external health care providers as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program
• Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington
• Advanced cardiac life support credential required within 90 days of hire depending on age of the population served: ACLS, NRP, PALS
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification
• Minimum one (1) year of acute care experience in the field of respiratory therapy and critical care as RRT preferred
• Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum education qualifications.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $35.94 - $55.43 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
