Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a RESPIRATORY CARE PRACTITIONER to join our RESPIRATORY THERAPY team!

The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides respiratory and cardiopulmonary monitoring, diagnostics, and therapy services under medical direction to patients in various care environments. Assists in orientation training of hospital staff, students, and the public regarding respiratory disease and care. Provides respiratory care to patients of all ages, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interprets patient information and understands treatment needs based on patient age, demonstrating awareness of physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs.

This position is eligible for a $10,000 transition bonus!

HOURS: .9 FTE / 72 hours every two weeks, working 7 shifts on/7 shifts off, from 6:30pm to 7:00am.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of respiratory care standards and protocols, normally acquired through graduation from an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care with an associate degree.
• An active Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner license is required.
• Registered RRT by the National Board of Respiratory Care, or registry eligible with certification obtained within one year of hire.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
