Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our inpatient team. The RCP will perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and ensure equipment is maintained and ready for use.

Preferred candidates have 1+ year of clinical respiratory experience and an associate degree; state licensure as an RCP, plus BLS and ACLS certifications are required, with Colorado-specific blood gas licensure also desired.

Qualifications

• Required: state RCP license; BLS; ACLS.
• State-specific: blood gas licensure (Colorado).
• Experience: Preferred: 1+ year clinical respiratory experience; associate degree

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
