Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team. The ideal candidate will bring a commitment to learning and caring for a diverse patient population with complex needs.

The RCP performs routine therapy, diagnostics and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, while maintaining equipment and assisting with phlebotomy and basic laboratory tasks as requested.

Qualifications

• Inpatient clinical respiratory care skills.
• Experience with phlebotomy and basic lab testing is preferred.
• Ability to maintain respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintain all equipment in working order and perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.

  • Required: state RCP license; BLS; ACLS
  • State-specific: blood gas licensure (Colorado)
• Experience: Preferred: 1+ year clinical respiratory experience; associate degree
