Responsibilities

Promote healing of patients with compromised cardiac or pulmonary systems through respiratory care, diagnostics, patient education, and psychosocial support. Assist in daily operations of the Cardiopulmonary Services Department, perform arterial blood gas analysis, operate ventilators and other respiratory equipment, and perform respiratory assessments across all age groups. Refer complex issues to management as needed.

Qualifications

1. Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner License in CA
2. Current BCLS certification
3. PALS certification within 3 months of hire
4. ACLS certification recommended
5. NRP certification for NICU RCP
6. Fluency in English (written and spoken)
7. Experience in respiratory care for diverse patient populations
