Job summary

PAM Health in Florida is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) for a 13-week assignment at $55 per hour. No travel reimbursement.

The RCP will perform routine therapy, diagnostics, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures in PAM Health hospitals, maintain equipment, and may provide phlebotomy and basic lab testing as required.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
