PAM Health is opening a new inpatient rehab hospital this winter and seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate has inpatient experience or a strong desire to learn and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Inpatient hospital experience preferred, with commitment to learning.
• Must be licensed or certified to practice respiratory care in the state of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; Nevada blood gas licensure if employed there; high school diploma acceptable, associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures; maintains equipment.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order. Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care. Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification. Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada. For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.
• Experience: Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.
