Job summary

Gibson-Area-Hospital- in Illinois is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our hospital team. The role requires IL licensure, BLS, and at least 2 years of recent hospital experience; you should be comfortable working alone at times, and able to perform a range of respiratory procedures.

Duties include PFTs, Cardiac Stress Tests, EKGs, ABGs, ventilator management, and home oxygen qualifications while collaborating with providers to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist in Illinois.
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience.
• Able to work alone at times.
• ACLS/PALS required within 6 months of hire; BLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PFTs, Cardiac Stress Tests, EKGs, Holter monitor placement (training provided).
• ABGs, home oxygen qualifications, ventilator management, routine respiratory care.
• Collaborate with providers regarding all aspects of respiratory therapy.

HOURS & SHIFT REQUIREMENTS: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, 24 hours weekly, Mon – FriRegistered Respiratory Therapist or eligible preferred, licensed in the State of Illinois. 2 years recent hospital experience required; must be comfortable working alone at times. Duties include PFTs, Cardiac Stress Tests, EKGs, Holter monitor placement, (we will train you on the above) ABGs, home oxygen qualifications, ventilator management, routine respiratory care, collaborating with providers regarding all aspects of respiratory therapy. Flexible self-scheduling, Free scrubs, Licensure reimbursement.BLS required, ACLS/PALS required within 6 months of hire.
